In 2020, the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad purchased the historic Mark Twain Zephyr. Also featured are some exclusive photographs of the building of the Mark Twain Zephyr in 1935. Plus, a step-by-step playbook for the Mark Twain Zephyr's Inaugural day on October 25, 1935 in Hannibal, Missouri.

Volume 2 is 287 pages and covers the 23 years that the Mark Twain Zephyr operated under the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. Also, the 60 years that the train has been under private ownership; included is exclusive interviews with the children of many of the original owners. This volume concludes with a look at the restoration plans that the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad has for the Mark Twain Zephyr.

Volume 3 is 284 pages and covers the move of the Mark Twain Zephyr cars from the St. Louis area to Northwest Wisconsin between July and September 2020.
